Who should work with a Health Coach?

Health Coaching is for anyone that wants to take a more intentional role in their health. Health Coaching can be beneficial to you, whether you are a beginner and never really thought about your health, or someone who just needs help fine tuning a couple of areas of their lifestyle.

What is a Health Coach?

A Health Coach is someone who is trained to look at health holistically. They will help you look at not only your nutrition and physical activity levels, but also how stress, sleep, and other outside factors can be impacting your overall wellness. Then they will help work with you to create easy action steps to reach your health goals, and create sustainable lifestyle changes so you can continue to live your healthiest lifestyle long after working with the Health Coach

What sort of programs do you offer?

We offer 90 day and 6 month Health Coaching programs. Both programs have one on one 60 minute sessions to discuss your health and exercise goals holistically. Both programs also include personal training, customized workout programs, and virtual personal training workouts.

We also offer a specialized Pre and Postnatal Coaching program. This program covers nutrition and exercise recommendations for each trimester during pregnancy, as well as safe and effective workouts. Postpartum we feature a three phase recovery program to help work your body back into activity and help strengthen your core, as well as recommendations for nutrition to help with recovery and building back strength.

Finally, we offer some in home person personal training, where we come to your house with all the equipment necessary for each session. Each session will be customized to your specific goals and your exercise level.

How can I start working with you?

Please reach out in the Contact Me section. We will return the message within 48 hours and will schedule a free 30 minute consultation. In the consultation we will discuss programs, what you hope to get out of it, goals, and general topics we cover throughout the programs. Then we can decide if we think it would be a good fit to work together, and what program best suites your individual needs

What are your Credentials?

I am a certified Personal Trainer, Certified Health Coach, and Certified Pre and Postnatal Coach. I love working with women in all stages of their life and have been working with women ranging from trying to start a family to decades after having their first child and women who just want to be the strongest version of themself! If any of my clients have questions or concerns out of my scope of practice I have trusted referrals that I can recommend as well. 

What do you use for personal Training? Do I need my own equipment?

We provide all the equipment needed for a session. We can also make suggestions for affordable equipment you can purchase for your house if you would like to exercise outside of our sessions at home. You don't need a ton of equipment to get started and to have effective workouts. 

Is it okay to exercise while pregnant?

Always ask your doctor/medical professional to get cleared for exercise before completing any type of activity while pregnant. If your doctor clears you for exercise and you have no contraindications that would limit your activity level then it is not only ok, but also highly encouraged to exercise when pregnant. Many women are able to exercise for most of their pregnancy in a variety of exercises from yoga, running, strength training, pilates, and so much more! There are countless benefits to staying active while pregnant!

What happens if I decide your training isn't for me after a couple sessions?

We offer a full pro-rated refund. Either you are happy with the lifestyle changes that are being made or we offer a pro-rated refund for the remainder of your fee. We believe so strongly in these programs and the positive changes you will see, that we have no problem offering this if you are not satisfied. 

Is your coaching in person or virtual?

We offer both in person and virtual options. We have found that for some people virtual meetings are the most convenient way to fit sessions into your busy schedule. We offer all our health coaching and pre and postnatal sessions virtually. All virtual programs include personal training, where we will go through workouts together and we will help with form and answer any questions as we work through the exercises together. We also offer some in person personal training sessions at the clients house. During this we bring the necessary equipment and work one on one and in small groups up to three people.
